48 hours to join a gym and do a rowing machine set.
My goals & intentions for December
Status report:
- strength training on point
- haven’t joined a gym or started rowing machines yet. That’s actionable.
- weight goal unclear
- booked appt with new ADHD psychiatrist
- booked screening call with therapist
- I booked and visited a dentist but went to the wrong clinic so rebooked another visit
- steps at 10k average and I’m cycling a lot so this is on point
- 1 social dinner with friends. I bailed on another to have a date night so need to focus on friends for at least 1 more
- cardio goal achieved
Overall tracking very well.
Actionables:
- 1 more social evening just with friends
- join a gym for row machines
- strength training can be more consistent
- should be tracking weight goal and should admit it was probably too ambitious, consider adjusting this goal now with half the penalty (lose only 1kg from whatever it is now, and no drinking in January)

Except as noted this is mostly my current monthly routine but stepping up a little in some areas.
Specifics would be dentist, I should start therapy, gym for row machine because I want to try that, and committing to at least 1 social mixer.
Goals for Dec
- Strength training 3x weekly. Can slip just have this target. Mon / weds / fri mornings
- cardio on other days, even 20 mins counts but this shall be separate to the steps goal
- join a gym for a row machine. I know which one already. Go twice a week. This does not count as strength training for goal purposes since I need to shape. Does count for cardio and reps = steps.
- average 12000 steps (current 11k, excluding cycling which I do a lot). Reps of the row machine shall count as steps. 1 hour cycling shall equal 6000 steps, but we shall cycle fast. Be active daily.
- read 1 book just for fun / leisure, preferably in Spanish but English is ok. Any length is ok.
- weigh 85kg by dec 31 regardless of Xmas feasting (1kg net loss). If I don’t hit this, then only fruit for munchies and 100% sober and vegan throughout January.
- 1 music concert
- 2 dinners with friends, excludes Xmas dinners, NYE, & dates
- visit dentist
- find a new ADHD shrink because current one is too hard to get appointments with
- book a therapist for any next available date
- go to 1 social mixer where I don’t know anyone, of any type, from meetup or facebook or whatever any of those meetup sites
On any day except Sunday, if I don’t achieve or meaningfully move towards at least one goal, I must not smoke weed.
On any day I smoke weed, I must prep a fruit salad and popcorn for munchies. No cheese, pizza, nor ice cream when stoned.

This election outcome only affects the personal political fortunes of a handful of Israeli politicians. The question of US support for Israel’s riot of violence has already been decided.
I haven’t been keeping count but it just kinda feels like a lot of world leaders have been dying in helicopter crashes lately
If this community wasn’t so afflicted by ADHD we could finally complete the resurrection ritual and get Papa Lenin back
