Patient gamer reporting here.
often have worse frame pacing and battery life especially compared to the OLED model.
Yeah, honestly the fact that the Deck with less raw power leaves similar results is a huge positive point I guess, I honestly haven't seen anyone complaining that much because of the performance issues.
And yeah, better battery life is always good in my book, I think other handhelds have a joke of battery life.
Can't unseen it now, thanks.
Bookmarks exist
Bookmarks also need a huge redesign, and not only with FF.
That is why services like Pocket and reading lists exist... Heck, I have been using Evernote as a bookmark replacement for many years (and now I need to find a replacement for it, Sadly).
Great post, exactly my thoughts, people demanding features on Lemmy and even claiming devs work for them LMAO, go to Sublinks or somewhere else.
How unfortunate... 🏴☠️
And at the end most of them end up teaching you how to catch Pokémon 🫠
I'm gonna cheat a little one and mention the PSP GO (take it as an honorable mention because it uses software to work lol).
The damn thing was meant to be used with an online connection to get games, updates and DLCs but people failed to see the appeal to it (mostly because of the poor infrastructure we used to have) people decided that UMD was the better option and guess which of those thrived.
It’s incredible what Lemmy has turned into so quickly.
This couldn't have been possible without the help of Spez and all the board responsible for the APIcalypse, thank you very much!
Because although it is in a very early state compared with Sync for Reddit it is also a great product.
I use Sync for Lemmy, Voyager and Summit and overall I think Summit is a better client as of now, but Sync doesn't fall too far away.
What dark pattern for real lol, we users asked for it, the dev didn't even care nor know about Lemmy if it wasn't for us, he listened and now he is present around here with a very competent client.
Would the world be better for you if Sync ceased to exist LMAO.
Sync for Lemmy and Voyager are my main Lemmy clients now, I'm glad Sync is getting better.
I did the work first, then filled up my disks and moved to Stremio, no regrets, and yeah both solutions offer a better experience than Netflix, Prime Video, MAX, Disney+ and Star+ (which are the platforms I am have/once had.
