I met my wife's zoomer cousins today for Eid and they're all watching YouTube streams of iShowSpeed touring China. I looked up some of the highlights of those streams and I genuinely believe that shit is more effective for the improvement of China's image amongst zoomer youth than a thousand articles by academic leftists titled "China's prosperity boom" or whatever. Zoomers are watching and being impressed by how clean the cities are, the fact that the stream doesn't lag in a high speed train in a tunnel, by how well-mannered Chinese youth are, and even trivial stuff like knowing about the Great Wall of China for the first time. 🇹🇼🇺🇦-bio creatures are seething in twitter replies about the evil SeeSeePee paying Speed to do these streams, while he's chilling in the Chinese mountains learning Shaolin kung fu by a nice Chinese dude named Master Liang. The world has truly changed, no amount of leaflets and protests has even a fraction of the effect of one stream of this Speed guy eating spicy noodles while doing backflips in the Forbidden City next to Mao's mausoleum.

Two unrelated thoughts:

  1. Trump's batshit crazy cabinet actually proves that voting Trump was the correct accelerationist position. If you wanted to accelerate the downfall of American hegemony and the weakening of American institutions by appointing the biggest dumbasses on the planet, then you got your wish with this 2nd Trump admin. I sympathize with Americans comrades, but chickens come home to roost like the great martyr Malcolm X said.

  2. Russians actually entered deep into Kupiansk, I can't believe my eyes. Actually insane development, I didn't expect this at all so quickly honestly. It says a lot about the state of Ukrainian defences at this point. The story of Kupiansk is very interesting and serves as a good blueprint of the future of how Ukrainian territories will be integrated into Russia. Russia took over Kupiansk without a fight in February 2022, because the mayor was an intelligent man who spared the city from unnecessary bloodshed by calling the Russian command and telling them that they're free to enter the city without needlessly destroying infrastructure and civilian life. Civilians stayed, got their wages from Moscow, repairs were done quickly, civilians didn't leave, schools switched to Russian which the population already spoke perfectly, and that angered western media so much. When the Ukrainians took back the city in September 2022, mass arrests took place and sob stories were planted in media. The city was turned into a military hellhole by the AFU and most civilians had to flee. Russia kinda stabbed those people in the back during that disastrous period, but that's another discussion.

Back online after two weeks of taking care of irl stuff. Random disconnected thoughts incoming:

  • Aunt and her kids have successfully left Lebanon into Syria and then into Iraq, very happy with that. Thank God for the Iraqis, we're forever indebted to them for just how extraordinarily generous they've been with the refugees. Fuck the Egyptians for not even doing 0.1% of that for the people of Gaza.

  • Son is already nearly four months old. Very nice kid tbh, not too many sleepless nights so far.

  • Damn the Ukraine war is progressing very fast now, I don't even have time to learn the names of the villages anymore. Cursed town Ugledar might have been the glue that held together Ukraine's defence in the south-east. Nonstop collapse since Ugledar fell and now we are looking at the first big Russian arrow since the first weeks of the war. South Donetsk is done if Russia reach Andriivka, that entire Kurakhove corner will fall in matter of weeks. Very interesting developments on the Oskol sector as well, don't understand why Ukraine is letting their east Kupyansk grouping get pinned towards the river and not withdrawing behind a very defensible river line.

  • I don't believe the reports about any ceasefire whether in Lebanon or Gaza. The Doha talks about Gaza are just a last ditch effort to provide a "peace in the Middle East" boost for Kamala, there's little real substance there. Same with the Lebanon negotiations, there's no incentive for any side here. Israel continue their forever war, Americans sell guns, Iranians have an excuse to lob missiles at Israel whenever they want now and Hezbollah are inflicting record damage on IDF losers.

  • Help me out Hexxies, who will win the election? My instincts say it's big wet Donnie, but idk these days. How are the polls looking? I read reddit and in their world Kamala will win every single state, while right wings dumbasses on Twitter say that NY is a swing state.

Looks like Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah will be buried in Karbala, Iraq, next to Imam Hussein. There's no more fitting spot on earth for him, I have made a promise to visit his grave as soon as possible. My wife has been feeling kinda homesick since birthing our son and she wants to go to Iraq for a few weeks, so there's a very good reason for me to follow along now.

I realised something about the Iranian & gang response to Israel while scrolling through Arab Facebook today. They're waiting for the Arbaeen pilgrimage to end by Monday. Arbaeen is the biggest gathering of people in Shia Islam and happens every year fourty days after the martyrdom of Imam Hussein and his family. To give an example of how important it is, the massive youth protests in Iraq broke out on the 1st October 2019 and lasted five days, then they took a 20 day break to do Arbaeen, then returned on the 25th. The pilgrimage usually attracts more than 25 million people who walk from the Iraqi-Iranian border and main hubs in the cities of Basra, Baghdad and Najaf. The success of this pilgrimage is of utmost importance to the Iranian and Iraqi governments, even covid couldn't fully stop it. When dealing with a freak enemy such as Israel, you can't put 25 million people in the danger zone. My wife's uncle posted pics this morning and it was just crazy, the amount of people there is just unfathomable. I think we've all missed this context on the bear forum and on twitter. The Axis of Resistance acts upon Shia interests first and Palestine second, this pilgrimage has to be protected in order to do something for Palestine. The Iranians and Lebanese Shias get home by the end of the weekend, then something can be done. Look up a stream on YouTube or something, you'll be shocked by the scale of this. Lots of revolutionary content is in this year's pilgrimage btw, I've seen posters of Ismail Haniyah and other martyrs, and there are Palestine flags along the whole road.

Gotta say that coups these days are embarrassing. What happened to taking the TV station, having a guy with a goofy military hat deliver a speech on live TV, shooting the president, shutting down the capital, making calls to Washington DC and suspending the constitution. The real pros of the 60s are all dead.

any officer after 1991 can't coup. all they know is cia, declare martial law, post on twitter, be white, eat shit and die

Looks like Ireland, Slovenia, Norway and Spain will all officially recognise the State of Palestine tomorrow. Not often we get positive news from Nazi Europe, so I'm happy about this.

Western dipshits give money to the Ukrainian government to finance the war effort -> The Ukrainian government decides to build fortifications similar to the Surovikin line -> They give money and contracts to random private companies that are supposed to build those fortifications -> Capitalism + Ukrainian corruption in action:

These concrete blocks were supposed to form lines of dragon teeth fortifications to stop Russian tanks. But some shitty corrupt company took the money, picked up these blocks, and just dropped them next to the street.

Went to the local library to pick up a book for my wife. Israel flag hung in the window. Went to a local administrative building to pick up some paperwork. Israel flag on a massive pole outside, replacing the Ukraine flag.

How should I feel as an Arab guy in the West at this point? Both my home countries, Lebanon and Syria were bombed by these scum in the last 24 hours. The apartheid state is currently doing an active genocide in a country where my ancestors probably farmed, lived and traded. I feel defeated and completely lost, I feel like any hope of living a dignified life here as an Arab is gone.
