A little report from Aleppo, I called my aunt yesterday. She stayed in Aleppo, more specifically Hayy Salah Al Deen in the western parts of Aleppo. Life is pretty normal according to her, the Jihadists are actually behaving well in their interactions with civilians. Shops are open, but there's some confusion about currency and prices, because fighters from Idlib mainly carry Turkish Liras instead of Syrian Liras, so all the prices are unstable and people are confused about what to do with their money. They distributed free bread yesterday, which was neatly organised. Electricity has somehow gotten better.

It's hard not to feel stabbed in the back by Iran. All that Resistance Axis talk, but we're slowly realising that we're just their Ukraine, they want the fight to be to the last Lebanese, Gazan and Syrian, but not to the first Iranian. This is just brutal, we lost our finest men in Haniyeh, Nasrallah and countless others, while they're doing fucking deals under the table. This is not an equal relationship anymore, we're just the bumper for their safety. May God have mercy on Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al Muhandis, they would weep if they saw the state of the Axis today. I don't want to be full on doomer, but the concept of the Axis itself is eroding under this Iranian inaction and lack of will.
Are we at a point where we can start to blame Iran for their slow ass reaction times? I understand the strategic planning and patience and all that. But it just gets frustrating seeing the cities of Iran's "allies" get flattened every few years while the Iranians are chilling in the driving seat of the resistance while not even fucking touching the steering wheel. Hezbollah, Hamas, Ansarallah and Syria keep taking the devastating hits while Iran is egging everyone on. This doesn't feel like an equal relationship anymore like in the days of the Syrian Civil War when Iranians were on the frontlines of Aleppo and Mosul. Israel doesn't stop because Iran isn't protecting their allies anymore, they're using them as a sponge to suck up the hits while Iran is protected and trading with the likes of the UAE. I'm just rambling here, but it gets frustrating seeing Beirut getting pulverised and we can't even get a little drone strike from Iran despite failing to protect Haniyeh in fucking Tehran. Resistance leaders were safer in fucking Qatar than the supposed HQ of the resistance

Thank you everyone on the well wishes and the congratulations on my last post, reading everything really warmed my heart and reminded me of how beautiful our community here is. Truly thank you from the bottom of my heart, I'll make sure that little Obeida/Qassam/Nasrallah knows about his weird podcast offshoot forum aunts and uncles one day.
Again returning to the main focus of this thread, it's crazy that we've finally reached a pace in the Ukraine war where things are happening too fast for us news nerds to catch up. Like I didn't know that Soloviove even existed two days ago, now it has already fallen and suddenly we've learned that a place called Arkhangelsk exists and that Russian troops are already pretty much there. After following street battles in Bakhmut and hearing just about Synkivka and Robotyne for a whole year, this pace is astonishing. That turtle tank monstrosity is also beautiful, I learned about it a week ago and now it's roaming down central Krasnogorovka suddenly after breaking the most annoying part of the 2014 fortified line. Thank you Mr Shoigu for finally rewarding us daily news slop enjoyers after feeding us empty fields and 100m advances for a long ass time.

Gotta give Trump some credit now, his dumbass instincts seem to have accidentally stopped any chance for Saudi-Israel normalisation. Official Saudi media sources are absolutely livid after the latest comments by Trump and Satanyahu and are weirdly enough using resistance-like lingo in describing the Israeli state, which I haven't seen in a more than a decade now. It would be so funny if Trump manages to unite the Arab position just by being an imbecile like always.
