You just used to use imperial system and thats why its convenient to you. If you used metric the whole life you would also feel it suits you. Its just the matter of remembering key temperatures and have a feeling of it. The key difference in metric is, you can do the conversion easily if you ever have to, but in the normal use its no different than imperial. If you feel (have memories related to) the unit, like 1kg - 1L of water, 0 celsius - water frozen, 1000L - 1m3. I tell you, if you used to use metric and have a feeling of it, you would never ever want to go back to imperial

Good summary, I can't stand Zorin's GNOME on my laptop though (I used to use KDE on my main PC). Come on, 5 clicks to connect with BT headphones every time? No auto-connecting? I have to install extensions anyway? Meh that's not for me...I can't change date to ISO format on my laptop, because I need extension for this too. Another extension for auto-connecting with VPN, and another app as a killswitch. Just you need to find an app/extension/tweak if you want to do anything more advanced than most basic functionality, it annoys me af. And I really like Zorin, its so noob-friendly (as I wanted it to be), but at the same time many functionalities don't work just because of "simplicity".

I use it on my daily basis. Never disappointed me in about 2 years now. So yeah, great app. (Sometimes I use waze too to avoid you know :)

Telegram isn't really an alternative, they don't even use encryption by default, so it should be faster. Better to compare real alternatives: Signal, Whatsapp, Simplex etc.
