Man pages tend to assume a lot and overload the user with information.

Forums are full of "duh, haven't you read the man pages, idiot?" kinds of people.

Web searches are full of AI/garbage (same thing) articles that focus on distros/programs that are either horrendously inaccurate, out of date, or simply don't exist anymore.

Therefore, I utilize the tldr man pages, and use extremely specific terms for web searches.

João, Tasker's dev, already gets hit with enough random shit from Google because of how many permissions, accessibility items, and other things that Tasker requests.

I've been subscribed to his Patreon for several years, and if you're a paying member, one of your perks is that João offers a free (yeah I know, "free") APK download not tied to Google Play services, with permanent licenses. A few months ago, I finally just said "fuck google in the ass for this", uninstalled the Play Store version from my phone, and got my Patreon Tasker APK.

Airbnb was started to offer up your free space to someone for a night for a bit of cash, and that was it. Then the morons found out and bought whole ass houses specifically to rent out on Airbnb.

In windows' defense, the "complication" comes from the fact that there is no constant visual display of the filesystem structure in a terminal window like there is in the Windows registry.

That said, taking an hour to become comfortable with the terminal is not a difficult task. Understanding ~, and constantly using df -h and ls -al (for me anyway) will help a lot of people figure it out.
