Yeah like all they had to do was wrap “democracy” in scare quotes

I assume the balaclavas are to protect their identities as Israel’s surveillance is pervasive, but these videos give me the delightful fantasy that once you join Al Qassam you never take off your balaclava (except to swap it for a neatly tied keffiyeh). I want more people doing regular jobs in balaclava. A farmer in overalls, a train conductor, a firefighter. Everything in the Lego/duplo universe but with balaclava and the green headband.

I will find it, this is one of those embarrassing blind spots I can’t leave alone. I was content to think “do colonialism and destabilize a coastal population, you’re gonna get piracy”. While a reasonable assumption, it’s pretty lazy!

I do not like where some of those guys had their right leg… someone’s gonna lose a toe! PFLP come on with the worker safety!

Especially where they didn’t have the platform over half the ditch, and had to straddle it. Yikes!

How did they get this right without understanding what any of those words mean? I guess it’s only right if you use the small ‘r’ republican, and honestly I have to believe there are a couple of monarchists in the GOP.

Yeah I desperately need this source to send to my left-curious lib friends who are mostly on board but ask for sources for everything even when you could just Google it
