Chronic Stress
Community forums tend to be a very mixed bag from my experience. There are who are extremely helpful, but most come over annoyed you asking a question.
I picked it for the gaming aspect. I only use my tower for gaming, I'm still deciding what to put on my laptop that I use for all other activities. It's running Pop w/ Gnome right now but I haven't really done any research on what would work best.
Gnome on Pop kept running so slow on my tower. It's much faster now. I did not experience those issues with my laptop. Granted my tower is much older.
I did not see an option of GPU temp with it but let me look around because I agree, it would look way better with the default widget.
Do you mean the CPU and GPU load and temperatures vertical bars? I was trying to find a widget that encompasses it all but ended up using two separate ones.
What people need to remember is that distros are largely built around activities. If your goal is gaming, or coding, or graphic design; then there are specific distros out there for your needs. It's what makes it amazing, you're not stuck with just one operating system. When I was much younger I used Gentoo and Ubuntu quite a bit, but glad to dip my toes back into the Linux environment.
Interesting, thanks for the insight. I actually had that problem with PopOS, it would consistently kick off my Bluetooth. Good thing with distros it's easy enough to switch when you get annoyed or tired of it 🤣
