A few adjustments to his policies may be necessary

As much as I understand the people upset about the geopolitical stuff from this, Syrians deserve to live and if they find that through ousting Assad then that is exactly what they should do.

As for who comes next, god willing they'll be reminded of the cats of Assad's regime if they don't very quickly establish a functional government to shut down the looting and violence.

depends on the store.

Though it was cheese I saw that was locked up in actual fkn boxes. Similar articles mention other measures like only stocking 3 or 4 expensive items at a time so a smash n grab isn't as lucrative.

Also, shops about the size of a bodega or gas station store often have private security during evenings, but that has been a thing for years now??? idk I only noticed it since I moved to England from Wales in 2017. Theyve been a thing at larger stores for longer but now even smaller (usually chain) stores enlist them.

Is Project 2025 something that the actual incoming government is using as a blueprint because anyone who mentions it seriously is either a lib trying to scaremonger about a policy Biden has already de facto implemented, or a crank conservative twitter personality trying to milk liberal rage for content.

Like, the "Project 2025 is actually gonna happen now" articles I've seen are all quoting people like the Babylon Bee guy lmao.

All of those freedoms were directly impacted bozo.

And as for "Linus didn't do it", not only did they choose to comply with an order that directly violated the GPL, but in doing so he then followed up by gloating about Russian maintainers who have worked diligently on the kernel for years for the betterment of open software AND Linus' paycheck.

Calling your former volunteer contributors bots and state assets because of their home country is just straight up racist, especially when the only evidence of state-sponsored tampering in the Kernel has come from American institutions (that we even know of).

federal ban on social transitions is going thru Congress with zero opposition from Dems. Can't tell me they're serious about transphobia.

Don't get me started on literally everything else they do to accelerate racism.

Your computer's chips all have a clock rate, which controls how fast these circuits switches from positive to negative voltages. These clock rates are synchronised using an oscillator, often made of quartz.

By driving the clock rates from a single oscillator, multiple components can have different speeds but can stay in sync with each other, which is how we can transfer data from different components seamlessly.

Quartz is pretty common as a digital oscillator but it's possible to use other methods. Certain iPhones used a different oscillator that are sensitive to atmospheric Helium.

Not sure where else in the supply chain it's needed, and how easily it is to swap quartz oscillators for other components in existing designs.

I saw footage of one explosion and it was pretty powerful. I've seen lithium batteries explode before and they seem way less violent. Guess they're chunky (and cheap?) batteries
