Canadians don't feel strongly enough to go through the hassle of rewriting our Constitution.

I completely agree with what you said. It's been years since I bought any games and yet my experience just gets better and better on Steam, especially as a Linux user.

I think it's just reminding people that EVs aren't a panacea to all our issues with transportation, and they actually exacerbates at least one of those issues. This is while we know there are better solutions for >90% of our personal transportation with public transportation, bicycling, walking, micro-mobility, etc. Moving one or two people around with a multi-tonne machine is insanely inefficient!

The affordability crisis is a major crisis, and we need to do whatever we can to get this under control.

At the same time, I literally have the same question that's in the title. She says she only makes $1,200/mo. Assuming that's true, the OAS estimator (also assuming she's single) says she should be getting $1,013.77 from OAS and GIS alone. I don't live in Quebec, so i don't know a lot about QPP, but that should be more than $200/mo if she worked most of her life. And if she's making that little, she shouldn't have any tax deducted at source, so that shouldn't reduce her income.

Were you "audited" or actually audited? So many people say they were "audited" when they actually just received a letter asking them to support what they claimed. An actual audit is a full review of absolutely everything to re-build up your returns from scratch and verify every little detail. Even for basic returns audits often take multiple days to complete.

From the article:

Google Wallet, a pioneer in the NFC payments space...eventually got combined with Android Pay and rebranded to Google Pay, only to become Google Wallet again for most users, even though Google Pay stuck around in the US, India, and Singapore.

EDIT: And I assume you don't live in the US, India, or Singapore.

I'm surprised Disney would be the reason. Epic has enough reasons all on their own.

@davidpierce@mastodon.social has been pretty bullish on the fediverse for quite a while now. It's come up a few times on the vergecast over the last year or so. I'm not surprised he wrote this decent explainer!

If Drumpf gets a second term, I think he'll be going for the high score.

With Anna Gomez confirmed to the FCC effective yesterday, the Democratic commissioners now have a majority and can push through policies like this. Of course, it could be overturned by future Commissioners too.
