Fair enough.

Opening ports to the network seems to "just work" or be hours of forum diving.

What OS where you using?

Ansible is next on my list of things to learn.

I don't think I'll need to dedicate all of my compute space to K8s probably just half for now.

Some TP-link gigabit switch with 4/poe ports

3 Thinkcentre Tiny with a ryzen 5 2400GE 32 gigs ddr4 RAM, 512 Sabrent PCIE Gem 4 NVME boot/VM drive, 512 PNY Sata SSDs for databases

I have a bigger server for AI stuff and storage. This is just Tue "production" server for my websites and Git repos

Not from lack of trying. I think it might have happened if flash player hadn't died

I agree with the sentiment (ads blocked in so many ways here).

However, people are looking to buy things and ads do work. I used to discover cool products and go to cool events I found because of ads and algorithms.

But I swear I haven't seen anything worth buy for years before I went full anti-ad. Its all temu drop shipped garbage and AI cheating tools now. I don't even get hot singles like the good old days!

I figured it was just a skill issue on my end that Spotify wasn't working, but I really should be just buying CDs/digital albums as opposed to paying the Spotify subscription

I don't know what that is. So no.

And obvious it's all movies and TV shows I own that's just conveniently ripped for sharing with friends and family :)

Do they even make disks with enough space for a modern game? Secondly, would a spinning disk be fast enough for it?

I feel like the only way for truly physical media in the AAA space to be a thing again is if people are willing to pay an extra $60+ for an external SSD that holds the game.
