And more importantly, take investor's money. Most tech company are constantly losing money and depend a continuous flow of investor money.

Reddit lost 90 million dollars last year, that's why they did the IPO, so they could sell the problem to some sucker. Snapchat lost 1.3 billion last year, and would run quickly go bankrupt if people stopped investing.

As usual, the best way to get rich quick is by selling a get-rich-quick scheme.

Well first off, how nice/tolerant is your management? Do you have savings? Some companies can fire people over this stuff, other will just ignore it.

The easiest (and least likely to make anyone mad) solution would just be to bring in your own machine and use celular internet. This way your setup will be completly seperate from the company network, and they can hardly claim you were exposing them to malware or anything. On the other hand you might have problems accessing devices like printers without copying files back and forth (are USB drives allowed?).

Security from what? Get a threat model.

A NAT will restrict connections from the internet, but won't stop attacks from your local network. As your network grows, it might be a good idea to isolate shitty IOT devices (firmware is often full of holes), home internet and sensitive devices like cameras.

Most power generation methods like coal have similar requirements, and it doesn't have to be clean water. In costal areas, seawater can be used just fine.

They did, with core you could be paying for many dollars per bit of memory. They also often used teletypes, where you would pay in ink and time for every character.

I reserve comments for explaining why a section of code is needed or explaining how a complex algorithm works.

i = 0; // Set i to 0 is pointless.

if (last_output_vertex[i] == bounds[i]->length - 1) contibuting_bounds[i] = NULL; // stop outputting a bound if the entire bound has been output is helpful.

It simply hides them, equivalent to just not doing anything. It would be illegal in the EU if the site tracked users in this case, but U block can also block trackers, so even if they tried it wouldn't work.

For low datarates sure, but at high speeds the dispersion caused by light taking multiple paths will be unacceptable. The reason single node fiber is so thin is to make sure light can only travel along one path. If you want multi gigabit speeds, you will need a direct line of sight.

Enjoy middle class in the US, pay 40% income taxes, pay taxes on a tiny house that somehow costs 2 million, pay taxes on a car, spend the rest of your income on fuel and car maintenance and end up living paycheck to paycheck.
