Matt Levine’s Money Stuff is awesome if you’re at all interested in finance. It’s kind off a offbeat take on things and really delves into the weirdness of financial fraud, crypto and Elon Musk, among other things.

So what’s the catch? Not sure if the answer in the FAQ really answers the question why it’s free. “Magic Earth is free for all our end-users but we also have a paid Magic Earth SDK for business partners. For instance Selectric.de (a supplier for navigation solutions for ambulances and fire trucks), Smarter AI (developing ADAS systems) or Absolute Cycling (using the platform on bicycles).”

Nope. A couple of clicks via Google, but that’s it.

According to FediDB almost all Kbin users are counted as active users (62,396 total users, 61,811 monthly active users). Lemmy’s radio is completely different, 347,379 total and 70,438 active. Apparently Lemmy only counts accounts as active if they post or comment. Does Kbin use a different method or is there some other explanation to the discrepancy?

!ukraine!ukraine@sopuli.xyz seems to be picking up steam. Personally, I try posting more on Lemmy to help the communities grow.

Gone cold turkey and completely dropped Reddit. Lemmy, Hacker News, Techmeme and some traditional news sources has so far been good enough.
