If I recall correctly, DuckDuckGo uses Bing's search database (not search itself, just the database).
He was reported by his own aides. And some Republicans still voted against him. It wasn't weaponized. He's saying that to try and downplay that there's still a federal investigation into it and that all this means is that he won't be impeached. It doesn't mean he can't be charged and convicted criminally which will have a real jury that isn't just his own party protecting him.
Where does this "everyone hates Biden" come from? I'm truly curious what thought process is there. Is he my favorite president? No. Do I hate him? Also no.
I was gonna say I never heard of "dapp" before. Searched it and only crypto sites came up. I don't even think I like the phrase "decentralized app" as it is being used.
Hence context is key
Nah. The risk greatly outweighs the reward. Even if this hits the news, I doubt it'd affect numbers on here that much, especially since it's not that big. It's not even big enough to cause issues for "competitors" (and I use the term lightly). The fediverse is simply not really ready to compete with established actors. So the "benefit" is quite small. The risk if they're caught includes executives getting jail time and likely irreversible harm to their brand.
What about the B drive?
Tbf, it says "a wolverine", not the wolverine. A wolverine is a real life animal.
Not really. The environment could easily include resolution of an ad server. If a site uses two ad servers and neither resolves, the attestor could decide to fail the environment. The problem is the attestation is left open for the attestor to create. It could check web browser, extensions, operating system, etc. I fail to see how this is at all privacy protecting to begin with.
We all have preferences, but unless you convince the admins to be onboard for moderating communities so that they all follow a specific rule and can't be localized unless it's part of the name, I'd say let it go. I am not comfortable with the idea of allowing majority rules to simply take over a community simply because they think they have better use for the name.
Pretending there isn't any condescension toward the "normies" when using the term is blatantly exhibiting the exact behavior the OP referenced. It's not how inclusivity works in a community at all. It alienates anyone that isn't already a part of it.
That isn't what the title is saying.
Basically the percentage of taxable income has dropped drastically. The wealthy's income has spiked drastically compared to less monetarily-gifted citizens. So the population is putting less money into social security. That drop is hitting a lot harder than just have fewer workers.
