I'm confused. If the gov can't filter everything how can a filter at my house do it?

I'm not as familiar with Texas as other southern states, but a huge number of these private schools only got created so white kids wouldn't have to go to school with black kids after desegregation. In some places the schools aren't even that expensive and the quality is horrible, but it's all white teachers and students even in places that have a majority black population like certain counties in Alabama, Mississippi, etc.

This shit is just segregation with extra steps and some plausible deniability.

The base they were both at was Fort Bragg, which is where a lot of the training for special forces happens. At least it did a long time ago, figure it's probably the same now. Basically they all spend a lot of time there and they also go to language school there, so it's really likely that any SF who was in the army at the same time was probably at Fort Bragg at the same time.

This story seems to play out a lot with the US govt. Likely due to the lack of any real long-term planning.
