I am learning about Matrix because of Beeper and Element. Beeper is an all in one app that can bridge to telegram , WhatsApp , Instagram and even iMessage on an android phone. Really good stuff happening over in Beeper.

Since liftoff support different instances , you can see a community from a different instance and not the one you are sign in. When it gives you the option to see via my instance it means it will load it from the instance you are sign in or the one you choose. Sometimes content will show up and sometimes no content will be available this last part happens when no one else in your instance have subscribed to it and its not federated.

I hope this helps you to understand!

Oh really? Did not know that.

Yeah and what to do with your online accounts.

You should use Tinymediamanager , its an incredible program that can download metadata from TMDB , IMDB , and other sources. It can also organize and rename every episode and movie. They have a paid version and its totally worth it.

Which platform of payment are going to use? Paypal , Stripe?

Hey buddy, we are having a discussion about ads and tracking not the developer. I am really thankful for this guy to make a great app so everyone who used to like the app for Reddit can have a great experience here in Lemmy. If I like the app , I will pay for it for sure , but I dont like ads and I have the right to say no I dont want ads , and I want an open source app.

You can activate it without a key ;)

Is it feasible to reinstall Windows? Always a fresh start fix all these problems.

I dont install aps from the play store , and what's wrong with wanting to not see ads or my data with Google? The less data they can have from me , the less the ads are relevant, the less likely to work in me.

Yes I am worried about that too , but what we can do about it? The more I think about this the less I feel the power to do something against surveillance and what it get into my nerve the most is that the big majority of people just dont care that every day we are losing privacy and our freedom. Just look at the UK trying to pass a bill to have backdoor on encrypted communications.
