Having productive workers isn't a right. If your company needs productive workers to remain profitable, then pay your employees more so they'll be motivated to work harder. Simple. Don't expect workers to lower their standard of living just for your benefit. That is entitlement of the worst kind.

I'd be very surprised if you were actually costing them any money. The value of your points is almost certainly less than the merchant fees they're collecting from your payees.

Back when I was a student, the auto-flush sensors on the toilets at my university were so sensitive that I could trigger an accidental flush just by leaning forward about 10°. Just the subtle variations in my normal sitting posture could sometimes trigger as many as five flushes before I even started wiping. It was so bad I started carrying a pad of post-it notes in my pocket so I could cover the sensor before sitting down.

As I understand it, vlemmy's policy is to federate with everyone. I'm guessing they would probably be the last Lemmy instance to defederate from Threads.
