I'd be worried about insurance as a catch. Especially if you live somewhere like the USA.

Russia can end this in a day by withdrawing their aggressive seizure of sovereign Ukrainian territory.

Plugged a serial cable into a UPS that was not expecting RS232. Took down the entire server room. Beyoop.

My only complaint here is that the judgement should have had way more punitive fines. A simple refund was not enough compensation for the horseshit they put him through, and is in no way enough motivation to stop the practice of providing misinformation.

Canada has a long and arguably continuing history of genocide.

I think by not having his ass thrown in jail. Very unfair.

It is true that when I see something from 4chan that I don't understand, I have to approach it with the well earned assumption that it is somehow racist or fascist. This snake thing... I can't just assume it's shitposting. With 4chan it could be anything.

The Epic games launcher is total trash on Linux. I know we're a small chunk of the market, but Valve has bought a lot of loyalty from me for their work there.

Valve has pretty much singlehandedly prevented Microsoft from using their monopoly to take over gaming. Effectively they're a monopoly themselves, but it's better than the alternative. If Valve is dependent on Windows, Microsoft has some major points of leverage. Their support of Linux is good for everyone, not just us. In an alternate universe, Valve is dead and Microsoft is skimming off 30% of every game sold by now.

Among the other suggestions people have made in this thread, I'd like to add that just covering something and allowing the food to steam-heat makes a big difference. For instance I will usually poke a well in the middle of leftovers, put a tiny bit of water in (especially with rice, which dries out) and cover it with a plate. The water boils and heats it much better.

In a few years maybe we'll be back to visiting in person and handing out paper resumes. Look the boss firmly in the eye and give them a strong handshake.
