Ja, in ein paar Stichproben sehe ich auch eindeutig, dass nur die Fläche des Gebäudes aus OpenStreetMap einen Einfluss hat.

Die Behauptungen aus dem Heise Artikel, dass die Ausrichtung der Dachschrägen genutzt wird, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen.

Oder hat ein Ost-West-Satteldach tatsächlich das gleiche Potential wie ein Süd-Nord-Satteldach?

Auch ob Giebel oder Dachfenster verbaut sind, hat scheinbar keinen Einfluss.

Das sind dann Kartenfehler. Falls solche Fehler bekannt sind oder in Zukunft auffallen: Man kann auf https://www.openstreetmap.org/ direkt einen Hinweis melden. Geht ohne Account innerhalb von Sekunden.

In settings menu i already deleted:

  • cached images and files
  • downloads

App Info now gives me:

  • Total: 14.81 GB
  • App: 281 MB
  • User Data: 14.53 GB
  • Cache: 553 KB

I don't get your point. Why should somebody do this every day?

As the experience from other users in this thread, it seems not extremely rare to have an overgrown ~/.cache/ folder. So checking it from time to time is a good advice. If we all do this for a time, and create bug tickets for software which is not cleaning up. Then this problem will hopefully go away with future software releases.

Even if you have trust. There can be security vulnerabilites in apps we are using. Flatpak seems to not really help in any way.

Problems:

  • you need an additional solution for Wifi captives portals, at least there is a gap in your solution for this situation
  • intercontinental travelling might not be fun

I dont know how to mount external drives on Bash without root privilegues. On the Desktop environment it can be done by just clicking without root password.
