It's always going to be the worst possible timeline. We're in a bad timeline already with the collapse of the Soviet Union and the continued dominance of Neoliberal white supremacist ideology that is slowly bringing back Nazism, and the U.S.'s opposition (apparently) isn't bothering to act against them in any meaningful way. (Granted Nazis conquering Russia and genociding everyone there would have been an even worse timeline, but this one still sucks)
The question now is: Why does there have to be bad timelines, and why should the people in them have to be forced to live in them?
