“The orange cornflour we used to create an eye-catching spectacle will soon wash away with the rain..."

Just like the Mona Lisa incident - they aren't doing irreparable harm to the monument. It definitely gets the discussion going, which feels like their ultimate goal.

That would be amazing. I grew up in the 80s/90s. I remember all the hype about the ozone and we as a society were able to change course and solve the problem.

Another thing we need to do as a society is recognize and praise the efforts that are being done to encourage those that are doing it and hopefully encourage more to follow in their steps.

I remember every media outlet making some statement about "Hubble is getting glasses" back then.

I'm waiting on the PC version and a decent steam sale. Patient gamer for life!

This is the lock picking lawyer and today I'm going to show you why you should always lock your hotel door with the chain...

Same! I tell my wife all the time I'd be happy to be a house husband. Unfortunately, like many families, we need to be a two income household.

Meanwhile, billionaires and oligarchs: ( •̀ᴗ•́ )و ̑̑

Companies are still trying to figure out how to make VR/AR mainstream beyond entertainment and niche use. They desperately want it to be the next cell phone, but we had good reason to want to carry around access to virtually all information and it was in a good form factor.

I agree with you - Google Glass had the right idea for the form factor. The problem is it's a solution looking for a problem to solve.

Recently, For All Mankind, Season 1, the episode where the kid gets hit by a car and is in the hospital with a brain bleed. My son was in the hospital with a brain bleed right after his birthday and spent months in the hospital recovering. This episode hit real close to home.

I had to take a break half way through the episode and didn't finish it until 2 weeks later.

A veteran Silicon Valley Software Executive.... aren't those a dime a dozen these days? And for every success story out of Silicon Valley aren't there dozens of failures. It would be more impressive if the person was a senior engineer.
