That is because both GOP and DEM are corporatist parties. They will not cater to working class people because those people aren't the ones throwing the most money at them. Left wing populism is nothing more than a tankie wet dream since citizens united.

The fact that you couldn't see that Trump would be inarguably worse and/or didn't care is why Palestine is going to wiped off the map and be but a footnote in history.

When people were actively arguing that Dems would be worse than Trump on Gaza they were either stupid or accelerationists. Especially considering these are self proclaimed "leftists" who apparently think Trump will usher in a tankie uprising. Not them of course, social media is full on revolutionary activism so they won't be doing anything.

I mostly agree though I didn't really like Beauty and the Beast enough to watch it more than once. I think Cinderella was the better of the live action remakes that they've made. I also didn't see the appeal of the LA Jungle Book.

Working people aren't going to be saving anything unless it's by a sheer cut back in their spending as they try to save money. And of course saving won't matter if Trump axes FDIC.

Unsurprising considering that Rubio has tied his identity so closely with being anti-Cuba. Many of the Cuban American diaspora in the US echo his sentiments. I like that the article highlights how many medical professionals got their education in Cuba, including a number of Americans.

This article cites South Korea as an example of falling birth rates. However, some data shows that South Korea's initiatives have helped it see in a light uptick in their birth rates. Time will tell ultimately whether or not the policies are a success. Link to article on Al Jazeera about SK.

You know I used to think that things like feeding starving kids was not controversial. But now with people feeling safe behind their keyboards, I have read some of the worst takes from others regarding children. Ironically, always from people who claim to be religious and "pro-life".
