I have my bookmarks, history, etc. saved on my computer (in the firefox profile folder). But i'm afraid firefox may delete my data once i reset my password. If not, will firefox sync my local data to their cloud after pw reset?

[HOWTO] Install Arkham Asylum GOTY in Steam deck

Steps below assume you are in desktop mode.

1. Download a copy from web archive

• https://archive.org SLASH details SLASH batman-arkham-asylum-game-of-the-year-edition

2. After extracting files, add BmLauncher.exe found in Binaries folder as a non-steam game
3. Hit play button so it will generate files in steam's compatdata directory. Additonal files are required to install so just stop the game.
4. In Steam, edit BmLauncher.exe by selecting Properties > Target > Browse > navigate to _Redist folder and select vcredist_x86.exe

• example: /home/deck/Games/Batman Arkham Asylum - Game of the Year Edition/_Redist/vcredist_x86.exe

5. Hit play button to run and install vcredist which is for Visual C++ libraries
6. Repeat steps 4 & 5 to install the other required libraries which are also under _Redist folder:

• /home/deck/Games/Batman Arkham Asylum - Game of the Year Edition/_Redist/PhysX_9.08.14_9.09.0814_SystemSoftware.exe
• /home/deck/Games/Batman Arkham Asylum - Game of the Year Edition/_Redist/DirectX/DXSETUP.exe

7. Once done, install protontricks to add d3dcompiler_47:

# run commands via terminal
flatpak install com.github.Matoking.protontricks
flatpak run com.github.Matoking.protontricks <game-id> d3dcompiler_47

The <game-id> can be found in /home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/ directory. Usually the game you just added in steam will be the first directory when browsing it through Dolphin:

• navigate to this folder > right-click > select Sort By - Modified Newest First.

8. Repeat step 4 to add BmLauncher.exe back as the Target
9. Make sure to force Steam Play compatability to Proton-GE. Latest version (GE-Proton9-1) works fine on this game.
10. Hit play and enjoy.

[How-To] Install and Setup Forza Horizon 5 in Steamdeck

Post is for people who's having hard time setting this up. There are plenty of posts out there (mostly in reddit) but missing some steps, so I decided to give this a try on what has worked for me.

1. Download game version 1.405.2.0 cracked by Empress

• (primary) search in https://doditorrent.org
• (backup) archive.md SLASH rYR06

2. Add the setup.exe as a non-steam game and proceed with installation
3. Once completed, add the ForzaHorizon5.exe as a non-steam game and force compatability to use Proton GE
4. If it's not yet downloaded, use ProtonUp-qt to install Proton GE
5. Download Goldberg emulator files

• (primary) mr_goldberg.gitlab.io SLASH goldberg_emulator
• (backup) archive.md SLASH hyYxh

6. Unzip file then copy all dll from /experimental folder to game folder. Backup original DLLs before proceeding.
7. If steam_appid.txt is present, edit and keep it empty. Otherwise, create this file with no contents or just delete it.
8. Play game in Gaming mode
9. Enjoy

So far, I haven't seen any contact apps that can sync with DavX. Only Google's contact app has option to switch between accounts (e.g. Google or DavX, etc.).

Looks like this requires an invite code before you can download the APK. Not yet sure, but it may require (cheap?) payment to access content. I wanted to know if this app can be sideloaded to Chromecast google TV. Has anyone tried it?
