I'll give that a shot when I'm back at my laptop, thank you

[EDIT]: That didn't work for me. Wish it did, since it's a quicker combo! The CKEY + en dash * 3 did though

Nice,. thank you. And ntfs for the data format is what I've understood to use

Can you do things like highlight text on a kobo? And can you then export with all the edits?

Also, can you the plug into a computer and transfer books over?

Yes, I think that's where the problem may lie, loading images has been intertwined with video autoplay

Damn. I appreciate that you did that leg work for the rest of us

I'm clearly weak on terminology. When you say Synapse instance, Sypnase is the server software that would then allow me to host an instance of Element/Matrix? And an instance would be running that software somewhere — namely, a device I own or a VPS?

Anyone know if there are go-to servers to use? Looking to try Matrix for a team of around 20 where client information can be shared privately

EDIT: mainly I was seeing if any of the public servers listed on joinmatrix.org/servers/ would be more recommended than others

Plenty for me tbh

This is where I get confused, looking at Matrix. I see that it's used for a bunch of stuff and there are various clients in their ecosystem. But say you want to create something like Slack for a group of people numbering @12, what exactly do you need to pick, you know? Is there simple guide somewhere for that?

Edit: it's a little clearer here https://matrix.org/try-matrix/

Channels are kind of like specialized convos. Like a community or subreddit, in a way. I see that matrix has chat, just didn't see anything about what other functionality comes with. Maybe I missed it on matrix.org
