This is just like Walgreens and RiteAid claiming they have to close stores due to theft, only to later admit that was a complete fabrication.

Thought this was interesting, so I tried looking for more information. Didn't find anything other than people speculating. If you have a link or search terms I could use to find of an article of these or similar companies saying the closings were actually because of something else, I'd appreciate it.

Ok. What about the president using the bully pulpit to call out price gouging after inflation has cooled down. Like last month. Or trying to tackle junk fees?

I know someone who’s trying to become a content creator on YT and is trying to study The Algorithm to make it work in their favor. My impression of Google’s direction for YouTube is that they want to take over agency of curation from the user to The Algorithm.

That is, I believe they don’t want people to look at views, likes, comments to know if something’s worth it - they want people to find/trust videos returned by the search results and recommended videos list. My guess is that may fuzz lower view count videos next, but who knows.

What Is an Energy Drink? A beverage that typically contains large amounts of caffeine, added sugars, other additives, and legal stimulants such as guarana, taurine, and L-carnitine. These legal stimulants can increase alertness, attention, energy, as well as increase blood pressure, heart rate, and breathing.

The drink in question had no additives other than caffeine…. Sounds like more like coffee or a frappe to me.

And in Florida, as they already have a fascist state government, it very soon won’t even be Weimar Germany anymore. It WILL be “Nazi Germany.”

Can you people actually read what I wrote rather than look at my score and try to get a gotcha in? Holy shit, like I addressed this in 3rd sentence in the comment you're replying to. Let me bold it with [context added] in case you don't get it

It and the rest of America can be [like Nazi Germany] if people keep moving away

It's pretty funny how in one sentence you say it's a metaphor and in the VERY NEXT ONE you're talking about "active resistance". Are you serious? Am I being punked?

And I'm not talking about any sort of active resistance. Literally passive resistance, voting, ANYTHING other than running into a henhouse would be better.

They have no reason to take your concerns seriously if there isn't an incentive for it. Seriously - why would they do favors for one group who may reward them when they can do favors for another which will reward them.

Once again, I'm going to point to Bernie - he tried to go appeal to the youth vote. See how he did in the primaries.

inb4 bernie-bros cry about being shafted by The Man. No - people just didn't vote for him.

Cool - you answered the question, gold star. Here's one more - in those 7 years, was there ever a call from the public to put RvW into law? I'll even settle for ONE call-to-action news article from that time period.

One nobody who wrote the sentence "they should make RvW into the law" while the dems had a supermajority and I'll say you have a point
