Right, but strategic electoral voting is required until we add some sanity to the system of we want to even be able to try to implement sanity.

Something plenty of those on the left refuse to acknowledge while actively shooting the movement in the foot.

Give it a few years, they'll be breaking out the skull measuring tools to tell us why he's really a criminal.

Fascists always turn on the token minorities, I don't understand how these people don't see that they're just delaying the inevitable while trashing their rep for people who don't care about them.

Don't judge an entire group by the loud assholes they have within when the good ones have no reason to be loud.

Yeah, judge them by their (in)actions and how they treat others.

.....huh, still not super great on the whole. One of the many reasons I left the church...

I wouldn't expect the victims of genocide to be proud of people for voting for either genocidal candidate. It's fairly offensive that someone with your callousness and privilege would even speak for them.

It's not callous to acknowledge that your choice will and already has lead to greater suffering, suffering that I have to watch my family and friends go through. You call me callous but didn't even try to stop, and you're hiding behind systemic problems to not have to acknowledge that.

So with all due respect, kindly go fuck yourself.

Yes, you are enabling endless violence by your support for these disgusting politicians and their racist, patriarchial empire. Your principles are bad actually.

And you're accelerating that through your principles, so they're still worse than mine.

Like it or not, sitting out is not helpful to your cause. But keep telling yourself what you have to do you can sleep at night.

Goodbye, and I will not read any additional replies.

This sounds like why I don't talk to my family.

Or more accurately, why they (thankfully) choose not to talk to me. Because I'm more than happy to be considered the 'know it all' because I bother to rub two braincells together and force them to have to spark a thought to defend themselves.

Elon Musk and Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland hosted an episode of PewDiePie's YouTube series Meme Review titled "Will Smith hosts Meme Review"

Holy fucknuggets, how can there be that much cringe in one location

Yep. The 13th amendment didn't abolish slavery like we're taught in schools, but made it so you could be legally enslaved as a punishment for committing crimes. They then just happened to make shit like "walking around at night while black" or "being unemployed and black" crimes that they could imprison you for and make you a slave again.

I only see an issue with it if you are in-between getting the identification modified as the gears of beaucrarcy grind very slow

Or, you know, you live in a red state that fights tooth and nail to not update that information, all in the hopes that this day would eventually come.

Updating your vital records is a state level item, and the process will vary by state, and that's a requirement to get it changed on your Federal passport. Please don't forget that a large amount of states have been trying to pretend these people don't exist, and now the federal government is trying to help make that a reality. For an example of the difficulties as reported 3 years ago:

States requiring proof of surgery, court order or altered birth certificate to change gender marker on driver’s licenses

Georgia.
Guam (U.S. Territory).
Iowa.
Kentucky.
Louisiana.
Northern Mariana Islands (U.S. Territory).
South Carolina.
Tennessee.
Texas.

States requiring proof of surgery, court order or altered birth certificate to change gender marker on birth certificates

Alabama.
Arizona.
Arkansas.
Georgia.
Guam (U.S. Territory).
Iowa.
Kentucky.
Louisiana.
Missouri.
Nebraska.
New Hampshire.
North Carolina.
North Dakota.
Wisconsin.

States barring residents from amending their gender designation on official documents

Montana.
Oklahoma.
Tennessee.
West Virginia

I'll note again that this was 3 years ago, before the massive wave of anti-trans legislation in the last couple of years.

Pretending like Biden or Harris would have done anything different is laughable

No, just your opinions. Tell me, if Biden wouldn't have done anything different, why did trump have to announce a change in what we planned on doing?

These hot takes are so laughably uninformed that it's no wonder trump won.
