I think the quality of Moon lights is very high, my one got lost but I liked it a lot while I had it. Cateye lights are alright. Avoid Lezyne, I've had them crap out on me.

The ultimate is a dynamo setup, but that's more expensive/complicated.

I don't know if there's any "evidence" but it's well known that the devs of Lemmy are Marxist-Leninists, and that's the reason for many choosing to use Lemmy.

It would be interesting to hear what you mean about the lock file being updated. Many Poetry commands should and do touch the lock, like poetry add or poetry update, but of course poetry installshould leave it untouched.
