Well, I don't really have much faith in your plan of the two countries annihilating each other. Like the Syria regime change people, you want to have your cake (regime COLLAPSES via based moderate rebels) and eat it (region prospers and develops under more based policital situation). This is impossible. Also it is unjustified. The Iranian government is demonized too often. Comrades in the CPMK put it succinctly. Why should I listen to you? Maybe too meta but I hate how much social media gets ahead of the papers at times like this. If you followed the Syria HTS takeover from their news your would think there was still a chance until the Syrian Arab News Agency RSS feed went down and came back up as pro-Jolani. Unfortunately it's indispensable to have a news source that follows social media. You'd miss wholesale admissions of committing war crimes.

Try making an RSS feed and sticking to offbeat or informative sources (avoid AFP, AP, Reuters, Western mainstream media as a whole, or reactionary media anywhere, whatever they say which is actually important will be repeated elsewhere). I can imagine why Telegram and Lemmy would bother you, as many people get invested in a particular interpretation or prediction. This makes it a lot more stressful to figure out what's going on.
