Stremio/RD is great though for my wife to be able to search new media and potentially stream in okay quality without fucking with sonarr. Or popular TV you're maybe not sold on but would try an episode. Or for old SD content, like tossing on a 90s show for a few episodes. The actual total in your own link was 5.2 million for executives. The 88 million is, again, the entire salary base just in 2021. Assuming they still had 700 employees (which is a current figure, not 3 years ago) that's still about 120k apiece for everyone else.

The only thing Samba is really great for is interop with Windows. If that's not an issue, Dolphin can browse SFTP directly by adding it as a network share (you may need to setup a password-less key pair to avoid having to login). SSHFS is a similar option and works even if the client is totally naive (it just looks like any other mounted FS).

Seriously. I remember first getting into Deity and realizing it's basically just exploiting intimate knowledge of how the AI works. The actual max difficulty is Prince, where the AI doesn't get bonuses, and it's so terrible at actually pursuing an agenda it's not very challenging.

I am a bit hopeful that VII's decoupling leaders and civs will force the AI to be a bit more generally good. At least make it so you don't know exactly what sort of tactics to use from the first turn you meet it.

I'm not a huge fan of Discovery but I do hope we can get a balance between bold and new and the sort of nostalgia bait we're in now. I mean, I love SNW, and it's really filling out some canon gaps (love Uhura getting some real attention) but I really want to get away from cameos. They felt cheap in Disco S2 and they're still cheap in SNW, but the writing is so much better it's forgivable. PIC and LD are also very rooted in referencing old Trek. Hell, even Prodigy couldn't resist making Janeway a (sort of) main character.

This is why I'm low key hyped about the Academy show, and am hoping it's with Tilly in the far future. Give us Disco's great, inclusive cast as peripheral characters, maybe even flesh them out more, but shift the focus to a class of cadets working as a team. Get back to that optimism and away from Burnham and whatever's destroying the universe this season, without needing to root the show in old Trek.

I dunno about ethos, but I do know Pine can also make false claims. I bought a Rock64 years back and they touted it as 4k60 video capable with an integrated GPU and that wasn't realistic at all.
