obviously I'm aware that he is not Palestinian and that he was born in a settler-colonialist entity. I asked about his beliefs

I'm getting a little uncomfortable with the whole "all gen Z men are fascists" rhetoric lately. I don't think that's true. way too many of them are for sure, but there's plenty of leftists or at least radlibs too. a lot of Gen Z men at those campus protests for Palestine. from what I can tell Gen Z has been radicalized in all sorts of different directions, but the media only wants to talk about the ones who have been radicalized to the right... for some reason

and let's not act like older men are any better. millennials and Gen X created the manosphere and a lot of them are consuming it too

a lot of the really hardline nazis have hated him for awhile, because he isn't actually one of them. he's a self-serving capitalist who's racist enough to court many fascists but he's not ideologically committed to any broader political aims. he doesn't really give a shit about advancing "the white race" and he has a Jewish members of his cabinet (one of whom is his son-in-law) supports Israel etc.

and order of nine angles aren't like, your typical run-of-the-mill fascists. it's a Satanic pedophile death cult

there was literally a bit in a recent Netflix show where the POTUS demands that his shower be of maximum pressure and water temperature. a white house engineer works tirelessly to give him what he wants and then gets zero recognition for his efforts

the timing is pretty weird because that show just came out like 2 weeks ago

youtube recommendations don't only show videos from channels you're subscribed to, adblock or not. but yeah I had no idea that they slipped in "sponsored" videos into the recs now, though I'm not at all surprised

now that I'm looking at my page I can see blank spaces in my recommendation grid, I guess those are all the ads I'm not seeing lol

what the hell are they even talking about? TSLA dropped to $250, so fucking what? that's still obscenely inflated, and it's already back up to $280 and climbing. that's significantly higher than it was a year ago. it's fucking 10x what it was at the start of the pandemic. look at a chart of TSLA over the past 5 years and tell me with a straight face that it's "crashed"

I'm still watching that slop but god damn this show is just pure unadulterated fan service. there's no real tension when you already know which characters are safe or not. the writing is also pretty atrocious, doesn't even feel like "prestige TV", more like some cable drama cop slop. which is surprising because the original show felt pretty fresh and original, at least in the first couple seasons.

the Dexter subreddit is eating it up, which is whatever. it's nice to enjoy things. but if the all people who posted during season 8 were still around they'd be tearing this show apart

yeah anyone who judges a group by its redditors is simply too online. most atheists are just minding their own business and not posting on r/atheism lol

besides if the worst thing atheists do is be cringe online, that still pales in comparison to the worst things religious people have done (untold amounts of war, imperialism and genocide) plus they're also cringe - at least Christians sure are

the horizon line isn't level. rotate it and you'll see Trump is the only one standing weird

that was an accusation leveled by bitter crypto dipshits, and everyone just took them at their word? maybe the price just tanked because it's a fucking memecoin and crypto is inherently unstable

not saying this to defend her - I despise anyone who would launch a cryptocurrency for any reason and I curse her and her family to ill fortune for 1000 years - but it would actually be way cooler if she did scam these losers (which is why I don't think it happened)

anyway this is the least consequential thing ever and I'm sorry for posting about it but it kind of bothers me that most people just went along with the crypto-bro narrative
