I think this applies to every breeder, regardless if they do pure breeds or trendy mutts.

I'd rather mix breeds gain popularity than pure breeds

You should avoid judgemental sexual partners anyways. Foot fetishes are considered "weird" if that's how you phrase it. Generally speaking, it's not that uncommon. Don't open up with a partner about kinks unless you trust them not to run their mouth.

I struggle to see what someone could do with that information. My ethnicity is already known by the government and every advertiser collecting my information online. I randomly had my identity connected to my cousin's before any family took DNA tests. Her name would show up in those questionnaires along with what car I've owned and where I've lived when I had to go through online government stuff.

I'm relatively paranoid about giving out personal information, but I don't consider my spit very sensitive.

I'm staying pessimistic about all of the legal cases surrounding Trump because I don't want to get my hopes up, but this is a very good sign. I'm sure they'll continue to let him violate it with a light slap on the wrist at most, but it's a bold move.

I'm very confused about what OP considers customization. My only experience has been setting up my home server so far, so maybe I'll be compelled to do more "customizing" when I make the switch on my PCs.

Does installing a GUI on Ubuntu Server already break that rule? Or is it a success because it's only software? It's definitely not "out of the box".

I live in Texas but have never looked into solar. The fight to switch to renewable energy will be a long one because of the politicians. Texas makes a shit ton of money from oil. Politicians will continue to convince citizens that renewable energy is dangerous, ill-conceived, and "woke" so that we stick to traditional resources. There's nothing stopping someone from getting solar panels, but I'd assume it would be more expensive. I don't know if there has to be prior infrastructure in place, because that would be a problem. Some people don't even have fast internet in the Houston suburbs because they don't want to lay all the wire for only 100 people.

I'm sure you can just Google what the benefit of using Firefox is. When "privacy" is talked about in terms of web browsers and apps, it's mainly about blocking trackers. Ad companies inject trackers into websites and apps, which collect your data. Google has their own ad company, and by using Chrome, you're supplying them with personal information without them even having to pay. Firefox doesn't sell your information. They also have many extensions available that will block any data collecting attempts from websites.

Duck Duck Go is even more secure. The whole point of their browser is for user privacy. Their app even blocks other apps from tracking you. You'd be amazed by the data collected by apps. My fucking shopping list app has trackers from multiple companies.

I was ready to argue that we're not all older, but apparently I'm in that category. I'm not very tech literate or use Linux, though.

I think someone else got it right. Younger people didn't live through dial-up and the old internet. They grew up with polished apps and fast loading websites. They're used to convenience.

It can be intimidating to join the fediverse. I was intimidated and still a bit confused. It's not something I'm familiar with in the slightest. I'm not scared of challenging myself to learn something new in tech, though, because of the generation I was born into. We grew up experimenting with the crunchy internet and awkward technology.

I get so hyperfocused that absolutely nothing else is in my brain. After a certain amount of time, if I have to get up and shift focus on something else, my brain is done for. The mental exhaustion hits me. Occasionally I feel the onset. I can definitely relate.

The admins of .ml are tankies. The letters don't reference a place, they reference a couple of communist leaders who the admins are fans of. I'm surprised that more people aren't aware of that on this platform.

Watching videos isn't that weird. I tend to try to rush showers and wouldn't be able to watch my phone while doing 90% of my washing, but it's not that crazy. I've always used a Bluetooth speaker for listening to music in the shower. It's much easier and doesn't require me touching my phone.
