“This is the first president in the history of the United States of America that anybody seeking asylum has to do it in another country,” Mr. Biden said at the time. “That’s never happened before.”

“You come to the United States and you make your case,” he added. “That’s how you seek asylum, based on the following premise, why I deserve it under American law.”

hey...uh... what does this mean???

they WILL use this against people in the future. corporate non-compliance or even dissent will have your implants shut off.

i've been wearing mine every day (which, by the way, ones made by hirbawi are unbelievably soft and beautiful) and have gotten quite a few hostile reactions to it. even people outright saying its "disturbing to see" and one guy yelling "fuck you". and they call the left snowflakes... they're offended over a beautiful scarf.

he has read marx, most people in soviet education were at least in some capacity taught marxist philosophy throughout their schooling. it's more about how much he believes in it/agrees with it (very little, obviously. he only really agrees with opposing western hegemony and nothing more) than how much he knows.

they literally used a picture of master chief in some social media advertising for this panel. a man who was kidnapped as a child by a militaristic state to be made into a living killing machine stripped of all humanity he ever had. they're definitely not being subtle about it.

i am trans. but i am also a communist, and i place anti-imperialism and anti-capitalism as the most important battles that must be won for the liberation of all humanity, and then also my community. for that reason, i stand always with the anti-imperialist cause of palestinian liberation unequivocally. anyone who doesn't see things this way is not my comrade.

the newer generations in china have been leading the way in terms of a public opinion shift towards acceptance of LGBTQ people. on social media and in city centers you can find a lot of LGBTQ youth freely expressing themselves from what i've seen.

why is inclusion in an often patriarchal/misogynistic and conservative institution as marriage the end-all-be-all of queer rights? this is such an annoying talking point from liberals. i have heard american conservatives going on national stages and calling for the complete genocide of trans people, but i have not heard of anything like that from chinese politicians.

china has a long road ahead in terms of queer rights, but compared to queer rights (and "rights" like the right to get married, right to die in an imperialist war, etc) backsliding in the west, there's a pretty big difference.

they moved for a reason. usually, its because they're reactionaries in their home country but (thankfully) cannot spread their reactionary beliefs there, so they come to the reactionary capital of the world, america.
