So this guy’s droid accidentally shows tarkin some of his nudes, tarkin makes him a kept man I guess because he’s such a good shag. Gives him a nepo promotion, and he is immediately killed on his first assignment guarding the Millenium falcon when it gets captured by the Death Star 
The idea of Peter Cushing’s wrinkly ass old man balls slapping away against this guy’s stormtrooper armour is so funny to me
There's a series of star wars books called "From a certain point of view". There is a book for each of the original trilogy and they follow the events of the movies, but from the points of view of background characters and creatures. I really enjoyed them. You get some really crazy ones too. Like the saarlac, who in the audiobook is voiced like some stoned surfer dude and who is vegan and hates that the Hutts keep throwing people into its mouth. Or a chef on the cloud city who is fretting over what to cook Darth Vader at the banquet we see him at where he surprised Han and Leia. There's another where a storm trooper is slowly watching all his captured buddies getting carried off by ewoks to be eaten, praying for a rescue party to save him, and then seeing the death star blow up.
Very fun stuff, I recommend.
This premise reminds me of Rosencranz and Guildenstern Are Dead, fun angle to rehash a well known story
