Dorms too cheap to get a microwave $10 more for a sensored microwave so people could press 1 button and not have issues with fire?

It has a popcorn button. Maybe someone really hates popcorn.
That's a cheapo unit, I'd bet it's the button type that asks for weight input and not with a sensor
AKA: it'll burn more popcorn that it cooks correctly
My guess is that too many people put those small bags that don't work with the button in there and burned it.
