Yeah, this is currently my problem. We don’t have anyone to help take care of the children. I cannot exercise if I don’t wake up at like 4am (all the gums are closed) and ride my bike. This takes a toll on me however.

You cannot excercise your way to weightloss without also make serious diet changes.

The thing is that I am eating very little. I am also almost in my 40s so my metabolism has started to slow down.

people always say this but like, do you just think 50kg of fat is the same thing as 50kg of muscle?

It's not, but without a diet change you're unlikely to convert fat into muscle like that.

I don't understand your point. It's possible to be healthy with or without excess muscle. It's not healthy to carry excess fat.
