A reboot of 'Starship Troopers' is in the works at Sony, with 'District 9' and 'Chappie' director Neill Blomkamp attached to helm.

Lmao this will be so neutered and watered down it will be unwatchable.

$5 says they make it a generic action movie with no deeper meaning than "bugs needed killing we just defended ourselves"

If Neil Blomkamp makes it, you'll lose that bet. He's the perfect choice for a Starship Troopers remake.
But he'll probably set it in South Africa.

Well, I've only seen d9 and chappie, so I'm not too hopeful.

Honestly it's more "I'm so tired of remakes" but hey, I've been pleasantly surprised by movies before.

Fingers crossed its good.
