I don't have a Lemmygrad account, yet sicko-wistful so I'll post this here: I was wondering what curve describes the edge between the dark area and the light area and from just trying out different stuff tan(x) seems to be the closest (though I'm not 100% sure) https://www.desmos.com/calculator/4vdslt4lz8

It might be a logistics function. They sort of model exponential growth and saturation.
