MODERATORS
for better or worse, local public servants tend to have a lot more skin in the game when it comes to their local communities.
also, giving some kind of a fuck about local public education is usually involved in being a public school administrator. like one could be an irredeemable sadist, for sure, but it's not a job requirement the way it is for Homeland/ICE.
it could just be posturing to generate political capital, but also protecting turf. like "Don't come in here to fuck around in my little pond without my blessing via a negotiated political transaction. I'm the big fish. Have whoever OK'd this little expedition call me."
whatever it is, I'm glad the gestapo got their dicks publicly stepped on and sent scurrying away like roaches when the light clicks on.
