Moran: That was photoshopped.
Trump: That was photoshopped? Terry, you can’t do that. They’ve given you the big break of a lifetime. You know, you’re doing the interview. I picked you because, frankly, I had never heard of you, but that’s okay. But I picked you, Terry, but you’re not being very nice. He had “MS-13” tattooed. Terry. Terry. Moran: I saw the picture.
Trump: And you think it was photoshopped? Well, don’t photoshop it, go look at his hand. He had “MS-13.”
Moran: He did have tattoos that can be interpreted that way. I’m not an expert on them.
The reactionaries in my life have told me the skull is supposed to be "calavera." Which is the Spanish word. And since C is the third letter of the alphabet then it's a 3.
These people think gangs do puzzles like Batman villains
I mentioned this before in a previous comment, but this all goes back to fascists' obsession with numerology and finding meanings in things that don't exist (think those crazy Christians thinking devil symbology is hidden everywhere, or more recently, Q-type stuff). It really speaks to the psychology of fear and hatred that surrounds rightist beliefs and the people that more easily believe in it
Since fascists have tried to use tattoos in a coy, dog whistling way they think everyone with tattoos is doing the same
