I just landed a full time job as a canvasser to raise funds for Doctors Without Borders and Amnesty International. Benefits, paid holidays, bonus pay for getting more than my quota of signups, this is gonna kick ass I am so fuckin stoked comrades
My friend worked for human rights group or some other organization as volunteer. He had to hand out leaflets (I think?) and got fired pretty fast. Hopefully your experience will be much different
There is a quota to meet but its like two signups a day and people around here where I am love MSF
Also if you remember from the Chunka Luta posts I am really good at this kind of thing.
I'm sure this site alone can keep you above your quota, but it's a great opportunity to talk to local people as well.
I am not sure how that would work it's door to door canvassing but I will certainly ask lol
If you can manage to find a way to also do it online you'd be really successful in online leftist spaces
