Or maybe, juuust maybe it could be due to all the anti-consumer shit you guys have pulled recently
Usually whenever Nintendo does something stupid or Anti-Consumer, they like to announce something to distract people from it. But now, it's just been a constant stream of bad news and it's sticking.
Just this last month alone:
Anti-consumer policies and aggressive EULAs (they stated that they can and WILL brick your console if you do anything they don't like.
BTW, Nintendo didn't "ASK" us to waive our rights, My switch has lost access to online capabilities, my library, my cloud saves and the store if I don't sign away my rights. That's not asking. That's taking my shit I paid for away until I do)
Backlash from the Palworld drama and heavy-handed legal actions
Restrictive hardware ecosystems
Lackluster online services—still!
Pricing practices that insult loyalty (e.g., $80 for a port of an 8 year old Wii U game that doesn't include the DLC)
It's baffling how they had the opportunity to make a slam dunk on this generation with the sequel to one of the most popular consoles, especially compared to their past sequel consoles, but once again they fail to learn their lesson.
i mean part of why im not buying it is that it's too expensive
