I've taken the opposite approach. My dog has twice daily meds. So do I. He hates his meds, but I still always remember to give them to him because they are Important to Dog. I take my meds at the same time because I might as well.
My problem is remembering whether I've already drugged him. That's where my special pill bottle comes in--it counts up from the time you close the bottle, so you know if it's been 5 minutes or 8 hours. It's also handy for when more than one person might administer the meds.
Special pill bottle sounds like a real winner. I'm usually pretty good about my meds but ADHD brains means occasionally blanking on things I just did lol

I feel you there. And, yoo much ADHD medication can be awful--I figured that out while honing in on what my proper dosage is.
