Personally I'm not taking adderall to work because I can't get meds because I cannot afford the $400 I need to get a diagnosis because every doctor I've ever had has said "You have ADHD but I can't help you because I'm not a specialist".
As for the sleep schedule?
I have slept 4 hours in 3 days.
I can taste time and it is bitter.
Edit: 5 doctors in 3 years have told me they can't help me because they're not specialists despite me being referred to them for the ADHD. Just checked my records. I am going to start chewing a hole through a fucking desk.
I am 33. I have been holding tight for years and my grip is rapidly slipping. I am getting literally nothing done in my life and the self-hatred I feel is fucking insane.
After my psych dropped off the face of the earth I tried an online service reluctantly. The doctor I got is awesome. PM me if you want to know the name.
There's a thing called instant release and it tends to last only like 4 hours. 4 hours is what the doctors say- for me, it lasts about 1 and a half, or 2.
The comic specifically says it's XR tho. Still, given how many people have a problem with forgetting to take their mods, having some backup at work might not be a bad idea if you need it to be able to function.
Also, wouldn't it be recommended to do exercise when you aren't on stimulants? So if you have like a 1 hour bike commute in, then you'd be taking medicine more than hour earlier than necessary and be exercising on stimulants.
Why are you taking your Adderall to work? How fucked is your sleep schedule right now?

It's an acquired taste.
Hold tight man.

Additionally, I work 12 hour shifts, so I either have to do an IR in the afternoon, or an XR in the late morning...
How did you get both? I want both.
