That's not just what I think, that's a fact. I've seen enough actual criticism of some of these games and shows to know for a fact that every single time, the peoples who go on and on about how it's woke and DEI's fault if this show or that game are bad are systematically ignoring massive and often very obvious actual problems with it so they can claim that the biggest problem is including minority characters.
Meanwhile, Nintendo:

But less sarcastically, have you noticed how games that "avoid politics" are often dull and uninspiring? Whoop de doo, Call of Duty 5,396. Such innovative gameplay. And the people who stick to those games and avoid anything woke? We call them... bigots. Calling out examples that make you look good is easy. Try taking a stand for marginalized people next. It's harder and more rewarding.
