The problem isn't what the content was, the problem is letting a payment processor dictate what is and is not acceptable even when legal
Today it's "rape content" tomorrow, it's vanilla porn, then the day after it's LGBTQ+ affirmative content
Itch.io already went and hid all adult content afaik, so we are already past the first stage even.
They even removed games like Mouthwashing so we're already at step 3 basically
Much like the adult section of the movie rental place, or the romance section at the book store, or the sex toy section at Walmart, you are free to not browse the content you are uninterested in.
DID YOU KNOW? You can filter out mature content on Steam in the Preferences.
They're after those places next.
