apparently it was from a subway so it was barely edible and not legally bread in some places.

I believe the sugar content classifies the bread as a pastry in some places.

i remember it being in the news in the before times because ireland said something like that
Sliced bread that you buy at the grocery store is full of sugar too. Not sure why people think the sugar in the bread is such a big thing. Sugar is also a preservative.
Probably just because you can say, some places don’t even consider it bread.
