Is it possible to seal a bottomless pit?
Well you could seal one end of it and from one side it could still be bottomless

I prefer the pit to be just deep enough that they survive the fall but still break their legs so they can't climb out, then the pit becomes a gender neutral bathroom
If it's truly bottomless they'd just fall to the center of the planet and float there with all the other shitty people

The entrance can be sealed, but the entire pit im not so sure
