You guys are sleeping on the funniest part

where are my police that love brutality in this crucial moment?
They reserve that for evil protestors and children who are slightly annoying. Doing pogroms is ok though they won’t even turn up
Minor consequences for my actions = immediate cardiac arrest.
Claims to be anti-trans, tries to transition from idiot to corpse anyways.
Man how transphobic do you have to be that even TERF island is like "Yo calm down"
You have to write a 50 paragraph NSFL rant that uses slurs for trans people not used since the 1400's. Only then will somebody maybe think of how wrong it is, but only occasionally.
lol. lmao.
i hope he remembers the time before he terf posted, before his wife left him, before he went from a well-liked comedy writer to the complete mess he is now
and i hope it hurts
he has completely destroyed his own life lol
he also apparently assaulted a random trans woman and is now standing trial for it. truly crashing out
he has completely destroyed his own life lol
more points for the hypothesis that transphobia is the actual mental illness.
i wonder how much time in any given day he spends thinking about trans people. i wonder how long he could go in a regular conversation without being transphobic
he is a perfect example of Riley's law, "once you post transphobia, you never post normally again"
Oh it's all the time. That's the thing with these people, if you aren't constantly transvestigating every person you see or constantly thinking about the most recent trans tech that you can deploy in a disparaging manner then the T-slurs will win!
It would be sad but they're doing it to themselves by being the lowest scum of the earth so fuck em.
The picture of Graham Linehan buying all the things you need to make a Carbonara, including the pan and cheese grater, may be the most divorced anyone has ever been.

Lmao get fuuuccckkkkeddddd
Im sure nothing of consequence will ultimately happen to him, but as others said, even TERF Island was like "chill, come on."
Bit more context here including one of the tweets in question
Is this some sort of optical illusion or does his head seem very large? I don't even mean this in an insulting way, I'm genuinely curious

he has an unheard of condition where the functions of his anus and mouth are reversed, thus making his head large as it stores the entirety of his intestines

Yeah, this has to be it
Ah yeah I love old video game cheats
The George Lopez effect
The posts in question (via his substack):

I can't find any other tweets that might be illegal, but I was unwilling to scroll past the 31st of August because he tweets a lot. If he's telling the truth about the tweets in violation, I would be highly surprised if the first and last are considered inciting violence, on account of them not really inciting violence.
this can't really be all it was, surely? to get arrested on terf island for being a terf, that's it?
I can't see the actual tweets? Booo, The Guardian
It is a bit hypocritical I guess, but if the state is going to be abusing its power it's nice that for once it's doing so against pieces of shit.
Dude was calling for violence, I don't think it's an abuse of power to start with.
this is the sort of thing the state should be doing in general, and more vigorously
Welcome to c/news! We aim to foster a book-club type environment for discussion and critical analysis of the news. Our policy objectives are:
To learn about and discuss meaningful news, analysis and perspectives from around the world, with a focus on news outside the Anglosphere and beyond what is normally seen in corporate media (e.g. anti-imperialist, anti-Zionist, Marxist, Indigenous, LGBTQ, people of colour).
To encourage community members to contribute commentary and for others to thoughtfully engage with this material.
To support healthy and good faith discussion as comrades, sharpening our analytical skills and helping one another better understand geopolitics.
We ask community members to appreciate the uncertainty inherent in critical analysis of current events, the need to constantly learn, and take part in the community with humility. None of us are the One True Leftist, not even you, the reader.
Newcomm and Newsmega Rules:
The Hexbear Code of Conduct and Terms of Service apply here.
Link titles: Please use informative link titles. Overly editorialized titles, particularly if they link to opinion pieces, may get your post removed.
Content warnings: Posts on the newscomm and top-level replies on the newsmega should use content warnings appropriately. Please be thoughtful about wording and triggers when describing awful things in post titles.
Fake news: No fake news posts ever, including April 1st. Deliberate fake news posting is a bannable offense. If you mistakenly post fake news the mod team may ask you to delete/modify the post or we may delete it ourselves.
Link sources: All posts must include a link to their source. Screenshots are fine IF you include the link in the post body. If you are citing a Twitter post as news, please include the Xcancel.com (or another Nitter instance) or at least strip out identifier information from the twitter link. There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance, such as Libredirect or archive them as you would any other reactionary source.
Archive sites: We highly encourage use of non-paywalled archive sites (i.e. archive.is, web.archive.org, ghostarchive.org) so that links are widely accessible to the community and so that reactionary sources don’t derive data/ad revenue from Hexbear users. If you see a link without an archive link, please archive it yourself and add it to the thread, ask the OP to fix it, or report to mods. Including text of articles in threads is welcome.
Low effort material: Avoid memes/jokes/shitposts in newscomm posts and top-level replies to the newsmega. This kind of content is OK in post replies and in newsmega sub-threads. We encourage the community to balance their contribution of low effort material with effort posts, links to real news/analysis, and meaningful engagement with material posted in the community.
American politics: Discussion and effort posts on the (potential) material impacts of American electoral politics is welcome, but the never-ending circus of American Politics© Brought to You by Mountain Dew™ is not welcome. This refers to polling, pundit reactions, electoral horse races, rumors of who might run, etc.
Electoralism: Please try to avoid struggle sessions about the value of voting/taking part in the electoral system in the West. c/electoralism is right over there.
AI Slop: Don't post AI generated content. Posts about AI race/chip wars/data centers are fine.
