That’s a cold butthole.
And here I thought it was almost at boiling point!

Hmm. Boiling cat butthole. I hate it.
It does seem so. Cats' internal temp is a bit warmer than ours - like 101 or 102F. Lots of blood vessels near the surface in a butthole, so it's warmer than most other areas, though would expect it to be slightly cooler than internal. Not 8 degrees cooler though.

Human external skin temp is around 32°C on the hands, so i'd say 34,6°C for the cats butthole sounds about right
You mean, you can warm up your finger in the cat’s butthole?
only by 2 degrees, i don't think it's worth the blood loss
