One could make the argument that this post is merely a ripple off the larger splash that was made when it popped off on Twitter and Reddit. Given the climate, mood, and solidarity being shown in that video, I'd wonder if the kid who recorded and posted the video might have more to worry about.
I hope the other kid just gets a slap on the wrist and that kid has to spend the rest of his school years looking over his shoulder afraid to publicly support Nazi shit like that ever again.
On the twitter threads the chuds that had their feelings hurt by this were really trying to play the "oh, you're going to use violence over a simple difference of opinion?" card and all I can say is, we are not in 2016 anymore bruh.
Also a suspicious amount of chuds body shaming this guy who I'm going to bet looks similar to many of them. I don't mean that in any body shaming way, I think they're either unhappy at seeing their own reflection or they're having a hard time processing that someone that looks like one of their lads is on the correct side.
They're all complaining about political violence as if this kid was not cheering on the organization that was created when I was like 20 years old and is doing constant violence right now.
In Chicago? This is barely simple battery. Our anti-fash young lad will be mostly fine with local charges, I think for something like this he could expect a deferred prosecution (a warning basically). School will probably suspend him for a few days too but whatever.
however, I half expect the feds to activate over this now that's its viral and try to slap him with federal civil rights violation and hate crime charges over attacking one of their SS-kindersoldaten. But I have no doubt the DOJ will fuck up a case like that and he'll get some superstar lib lawyer so he'll walk in the end.
I don't even think he will get charged. I'm expecting at most symbolic suspension.
